      FAQs

      Questions we hear every week.

How much do your services cost?

We offer fair, fixed-fee packages with no hidden fees. Your fee depends on your business type, transactions and whether you need VAT or payroll — we'll give you an exact quote after a free consultation.

Can I switch accountants part-way through the year?

Yes, any time. We handle professional clearance with your previous accountant, HMRC authorisation and software set-up, so the handover is seamless.

Do I need to meet you in Canary Wharf?

You're very welcome at One Canada Square, but most clients work with us by phone, video and our cloud platforms — wherever they are in the UK.

Should I be a sole trader or a limited company?

It depends on your profit level, risk and plans. Since dividend tax rose and the dividend allowance fell to £500, incorporation suits fewer people than it used to — we'll model both options for you.

Does Making Tax Digital affect me?

From 6 April 2026, sole traders and landlords with combined qualifying income over £50,000 must keep digital records and send quarterly updates to HMRC. The threshold falls to £30,000 in 2027 and £20,000 in 2028.

I've received a letter from HMRC — what should I do?

Don't ignore it and don't reply in detail before taking advice. Contact us and an accountant will review it and, if needed, deal with HMRC on your behalf.

      Our software platform partners

Fluent in the software UK businesses run on.

We set up, migrate and support your accounts, payroll and tax on the leading platforms — so your numbers are always live, accurate and MTD-ready.
